Utrecht, June 29th 2017 – The Dutch ServiceNow provider Plat4mation has been awarded a G-Cloud 9 Framework certification as a ServiceNow cloud services provider. The G-Cloud 9 framework is used by the government of the United Kingdom to simplify the obtainment of cloud computing information technology services. Instead of having to contract cloud providers separately, government departments and public services can easily make use of the cloud service providers that have qualified for the framework.
Elmer de Valk, managing consultant of Plat4mation about the G-Cloud 9 Framework certification: “The UK government started procuring cloud services through the G-Cloud framework in 2012. With the adoption of the Cloud First policy by the UK government in 2014, cloud based services became the norm. We estimated that we can offer real added value to the already existing offering of cloud services on the Digital Marketplace through which the G-Cloud services are available. Our expertise with platform solutions for service management and ServiceNow in particular, could be of great help to governmental organizations in the UK. They can especially benefit from integrated service management as they often have a complex organizational layering which makes it hard to keep track of processes that span multiple departments in a structured, user friendly way.”
