Corporate Communications & Public Relations Specialist

What will you do?

As a key member in our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with the press, managing our participation in industry events, and ensuring effective communication strategies across various channels. In this role of Corporate Communications and Public Relations Specialist you will contribute to the strategic communication goals of our organization.

Scope of work:

• Press and Media Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with the press and relevant channels, ensuring accurate and positive coverage of Plat4mation.
• Industry Event Participation: Oversee our participation in significant industry events, including FD Gazelle award, Top-250, Best Place to Work, and ServiceNow contents like Devvies and Transformation Partner of the Year.
• Analyst Relations: Support in maintaining Analyst relations by responding to Analyst RFI’s (IDC, Gartner, etc.) and ensuring a positive presence in industry analyses.
• Content Development: Take charge of creating press releases for noteworthy events such as new office openings, awards, and acquisitions. Ensure that Plat4mation’s templates and summaries are up to date. Support internal communications during peak times.
• Monitoring and Tracking Brand Image: Keep a close eye on Plat4mation’s brand image by checking Glassdoor ratings, monitoring social media mentions, and ensuring that they align with our positive narrative.

 

We ask

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate communications and public relations, preferably in the IT or consultancy sector.
• Proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with the press and industry influencers.
• Experience in managing participation in industry events and awards.
• Strong content development skills, including press releases and internal communications.
• Familiarity with Analyst relations and responding to RFI’s from recognized firms such as IDC and Gartner.
• Exceptional monitoring and tracking skills to ensure a positive brand image across various platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English. Fluency in German is a big plus.
