Utrecht, June 11, 2024 – Plat4mation, the global pure-play ServiceNow Partner in world-class consultancy services and applications for the ServiceNow platform, today officially announces it is opening a new office in Stockholm, with former Sofigate director Michael Thunberg serving as Managing Director. This also marks the start of a new organizational unit called Global Markets. Plat4mation aims for Nordic market leadership within 3 to 5 years.
Having attracted Keensight Capital and ServiceNow as investors earlier this year, Plat4mation’s global market expansion with ServiceNow is in full swing. Branching out to Sweden as the first country in the Nordics means the Dutch company will be able to provide healthy competition to other big players in the vibrant ServiceNow ecosystem, allowing it to serve its existing customer base in the region, and provide solutions and strategic guidance to new clients. Plat4mation expects the move to result in a revenue increase of 50 million euros and 30 new accounts by 2027. The team at the Global Markets unit is expected to comprise of 150 people by the end of 2027. Plat4mation will have more than 10 employees in Sweden by the end of 2024.
Exploring New Geographies
With the new Global Markets organizational unit, the company is set on becoming a ServiceNow market leader in the Nordics within the next 3 to 5 years. Though focused on various industries, Plat4mation will have offerings specifically tailored to manufacturers, financial services, technology service providers and the public sector in this new market. Using their presence in the Nordics, the company intends to take their global experience and apply it locally – first to Sweden, then to Finland, Denmark, and Norway.

Managing Director Michael Thunberg
The Stockholm office will be led by Managing Director Michael Thunberg. Previously the Managing Director of Sweden at business technology company Sofigate, Thunberg is experienced in setting up new offices and building high-performing teams. His experience in consulting, sales management, and general management goes back 30 years. Thunberg will be responsible for all Plat4mation go-to-market activity in the Nordics, aligning the company’s regional go-to-market approach with global strategy.
