Plat4mation listed in Top 250 Scale-Ups 2020 in the Netherlands!

Utrecht, October 13, 2020 – Plat4mation has been awarded one of the Top 250 Scale-Ups 2020 in the Netherlands! Every year, Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship and NLgroeit compile this list together. NLgroeit is a public-private partnership between the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, NLevator and the Chamber of Commerce. Erasmus University is a well-known Dutch university located in Rotterdam, with expertise in and a research focus on Economics and Management.

About this list

The Top 250 Scale-Ups 2020 consists of the 250 Dutch companies that have shown the most growth in turnover and/or employees from 2016 to 2019. The list is published annually and is based on the ScaleUp Dashboard, an annual survey of Dutch fast-growing companies. Find the complete top 250 here in English and here in Dutch.

The criteria

The list distinguishes itself from other lists by focusing on staff growth and revenue, whilst others only take revenue as main indicator. The criteria that scale-ups must meet are:

• Minimum of 10 (full-time) employees and/or at least 5 million euros in turnover at the start of the measurement period
• Average growth of at least 20% in FTE and/or revenue over three consecutive years between 2016-2019
